Psyched Conference 2026

Psyched is presenting an in-person Conference for the first time in 2026!

The inaugural Psyched Conference aims to equip teachers with classroom-ready activities, literacy strategies, and practical tools to deliver an engaging, high-impact VCE Units 1–4 Psychology program in 2027.

Key information:

  • Date: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm, Thursday 26th November
  • Location (in person only): University College – 40 College Crescent, Parkville
  • Cost: $455 per attendee (inclusive of GST)

Each ticket includes:

  • Access to all in-person sessions—packed with practical activities, teaching strategies, and live Q&A with expert presenters.
  • Access to all Conference notes and resources, including speaker slides and activities across Units 1–4, regardless of which stream or sessions you attend on the day.
  • Targeted strategies to overcome student literacy barriers, build terminology fluency, and embed Key Science Skills.

Ken Ong & Andrew Keating

Ken and Andy manage Psyched, and between them, have published several textbooks, workbooks, practice exams, online learning videos, and subject notes for VCE Psychology, Biology, and Health & Human Development. Andy has held a Leading Teacher position for Curriculum Innovation, and been the VCE Manager at Ruyton Girls’ School. Ken has held VCE Coordinator, Senior Year Level Coordinator, and Staff Professional Learning Leading Teacher positions at Melbourne High School, and has worked with VCAA as an exam panel chairperson.
